The NBA Power Rankings are in on ESPN.com and they shake out about as well as you would have expected. The Celtics, Lakers and Cavs are in the top three spots, as they usually are. Portland is rather a surprise this year, as they’re young and have low expectations, but they are doing an impressive job so far this season. The poor Oklahoma City Thunder are at the bottom of the rankings. The team, who moved from Seattle this year, are just struggling and probably not getting the crowds they might be used to. I also heard that they lost many of their players in the move as well, so they’re in a tough spot. Anyway, the season is finally in good motion now, so we’ll have to keep an eye on some of these teams.
